I am now almost 6 months along. It is crazy to think that I only have a few months left! I can't wait to meet our little man!
It has been a crazy week, but I am finally through it! I was in the heat for a few hours on Sunday night, and I felt horrible the next day! I am not sure if it had to do with the heat or what. Work has been crazy this week, which has made me more tired than normal. I have also been having weird cramps in my lower back lately. I don't think it is anything like Braxton-Hicks contractions, but it worries me a little bit. I go for my 24 week doctor visit on Monday, so we will see what she says. I also have my glucose test on Monday, so I have to go drink some nasty stuff and sit in the doctor's office for an hour. So not fun.
On a more fun note...Matt and I went to Babies-R-Us this past weekend and spent several hours registering. It was fun but exhausting. I never thought Matt would have so many opinions about what the baby needs :) I think he is much more excited than he lets on, especially because we are having a boy.
Matt and I have also finished painting the baby's room. Matt is gradually putting together the furniture items. I am so excited!!!
These are a few pictures of what the room looked like before we painted. The room is smaller and has an odd layout, so it is hard to get good pics of the room. We still have to put up the chair railing, but we are almost finished! I will post some more pics soon.
I love the big window in the baby room! Registering is always fun! Hope everything goes well on your doctors visit Monday.
ReplyDeleteHey girl! You are so cute being prego. I just showed Cori your picture. She was asking about you and the baby a couple of days ago. I am glad Matt is getting excited about the baby. Nate got REALLY excited when he could be involved in the baby stuff. See the baby clothes and really feel the baby moving. As you know, the mom feels the baby (and pregnant) way before the guys can. I have finished blanket #1 and am working on blanket #2. Miss you guys.
